Notes
Upgraded from register-derived to assessed against Cadw report FL020. fortified_residence is supported by an identified lordly builder (Dafydd ap Gruffydd, c.1278) and active defence (rock-cut ditch and counterscarp bank about a masonry castle). The report notes it as the last native Welsh stone-built castle and its destruction by fire in 1282, but speaks to no other band; all remain unassessed.
