Upgraded from bulk register import to assessed against Cadw's full scheduled-monument report (sig-20260722-report-pe087). fortified_residence assessed yes from the moated gatehouse/towers/curtain and the internal undercrofted range of a lord-founded castle. palatial_seat left unassessed: the 19th-century domestic conversion described in the report is of the gatehouse, which the scheduling explicitly excludes from this record's scope.
