fortified_residence upgraded to assessed against Cadw's full report (GM037), which documents a classic Norman ringwork-and-keep with lordly tenure, keep, hall and curtain wall. Other bands left OMITTED — the report shows no palatial conversion, no revival phase, and no visitor-operation/usage evidence for popular_castle. Single Cadw source, confidence medium.
